Will you teach me to use my new store?

What if I only need a few small changes, not a whole new website?
We can absolutely help with just a few small changes if you don’t need a full rebuild. We offer flexible website management to handle all of your updates, changes and fixes. You can choose our end of the month per hour billing starting at $150/hour, or we can chat about a retainer if you want regular work completed and want to jump the queue. Will I lose my current website traffic if I migrate to Shopify?
We know exactly how hard you have worked for your traffic to your current website, so we will do everything we can to carefully protect it.
As part of the migration process from another platform to Shopify, we include a planned URL redirection strategy to help ensure a smooth transition. What if my website isn’t getting sales and I have no idea why?

Will I have to use Site Unicorn if I engage you on a monthly agreement?
Not at all! You are not locked in to only using us if you engage us to manage your website. You can select which items you give us to work on, and which items you elect to engage others for. You are not locked in at all. Our engagement agreement will last for 12 months, but that doesn’t mean you MUST use us at all. You can give us as much or as little work during that time as you are comfortable with.
Can I get a fixed price so I know exactly what a website build or refresh will cost?
Of course you can! We never want you stressing over budget surprises so we promise we will always be transparent on exactly what our costs will be to you. How will I know how many hours I will be billed for at the end of the month on an ongoing website management agreement?
When you work with us in an ongoing capacity, you gain access to our online management portal. This portal (which we guide you through step by step) keeps a tally of all the billable time for the month, so you know exactly how much you will be billed for that month. This means you can budget and plan, because nobody likes financial surprises!

How do you approach managing Google and Meta Ads?

What is your actual process for setting up and managing my ads?
We handle everything from start to finish in your ads so you can completely step away from the stress. Once we have access to all the things we need (don’t worry, we will step you through this step by step) we will handle everything.
We will firstly audit your advertising account and the tech setup and all the data inside the account. We then work with you to actively set the goals of the account (what return on your advertising spend we have to get to ensure you are profitable).
Next we research your audience, build your campaigns and strategy and handle the daily optimisations to keep your ad account profitable (or make it profitable if it isn’t currently).

Do I need a specific monthly ads budget to work with you?
Yes, we generally recommend having a starting ad spend budget of at least $2000 to $3000 per month for Google or Meta Ads. This is on top of our monthly management fee.
This budget gives the platforms enough data to test, learn and start optimising for sales efficiently. This means we are getting enough information to make great decisions to get you profitable or increase your profitability in your ads account. This spend also helps you remain profitable when our monthly fee is taken from your revenue generated by ads too.

How long does it take to start seeing profitable results from paid ads?
Honestly it depends, each account is different and will take a different amount of time to see profitable results from paid advertising for their eCommerce store. You may see initial sales quickly, it typically takes 60 to 90 days of consistent testing and optimising to get profitable results. It can take longer on brand-new ad accounts though.
During this initial phase, we are gathering valuable data on what creative, copy and audiences will convert best for your eCommerce store. Do I own my ad accounts, or do you build them under your agency?
You 100% own all of your advertising accounts, pixels, data and assets. We will never lock you out of your accounts or prevent you from accessing them. That really does not sit well with us when other agencies do this.
We will require secure partner access to your Google Ads (and associated products) and/or Meta Business Manager to do our work but you have the ability to remove our access at any time you need or wish to.
If we ever stop working together, you keep all the data in your advertising accounts, but we will remove all of our scripts, reports and intellectual property that we plug into your accounts to be able to get it to perform at its best. You keep all data inside the ads accounts and that means all the ahrd work inside the accounts we have completed during the time together.

What kind of creative assets (images and videos) do I need to provide?
You don’t need high end studio productions creative for your advertising. But we will need access to raw product photos, or short authentic videos from you!
We then take these assets and turn them into high converting ad formats that stop people from scrolling. We will guide you with clear instructions, and provide you with links to tools you may need if you don’t have them already, so you get clear details for exactly what content is required that will work best for your specific eCommerce stores audience.
